In A Handful of Dust, Dell O'Sullivan and Iris Garrick, estranged childhood friends, face the end of the world as they know it. Separated by the nuclear wasteland that was once America, the two face the destruction of everything they've ever known and a chance to find closure for their friendship.

Bri, I would say this 'new' genre is a great idea! They are saying the next big thing in 'romance' will be sci-fi, which definitely includes futuristic/post-apocalyptic stuff. And to combine it with chick lit? How interesting.
